To promote cardiovascular health while reducing gender and economic disparity.
Our Vision
The vision of the Fox Valley Heart Foundation requires collaboration between our community at large, community healthcare institutions, local community representatives, and corporate leaders to achieve the following goals:
- Provide safe and affordable areas and centers for physical activity and exercise
- Access to no cost cardiovascular and healthy living education
- Access to no cost cardiovascular risk assessment
- Access to free cholesterol and diabetes screenings
- Provide local healthcare providers with assessment and treatment tools to provide treatment to goal to a larger number of people
- Support local diabetic centers in the identification and education of community members at risk
- Empower and motivate community donors, grantors, and corporate leaders to financially support the needs of our vision
- Empower the community to take responsibility for their families health and well-being
- Reach out to those in the community with less resources available to maintain a healthy lifestyle
